A DAY IN GOD'S COUNTRY
Just 18 miles from our dock and four miles off of
Provincetown lies one of the most diverse marine habitats in the North Atlantic - STELLWAGON BANK. This critical habitat is the summer residence of Humpback & Minke Whales, and giant Bluefin Tuna.
A visit to Stellwagon Bank is a truely unique and priviledged opportunity to witness diverse marine life in all of its glory and splendor. Approximately 80 mammals summer in the Gulf of Maine so seeing these animals is an amazing event. They are friendly, playful, and just awe-inspiring to see close-up in person.
Recently, ALCAZAR reported a sighting of an albino humpback on Stellwagon Bank to NOAA. It had been the first such sighting reported in over 40 years. Could it be...Moby Dick?
